19th C Chinese Porcelain 6" Plate Qing Dynasty Blue & White Export Scholars Mark
This antique Chinese porcelain 6" plate features a a blue and white traditional floral pattern. It has a hand etched scholars mark on the front which likely was made by a previous owner or shop where they were sold. The underside features a Qing style reign mark written in Zhaunshu, though it very likely dates to the late 1800s rather than the Qing period. It additionally features a red wax Jianding export seal which was probably placed on the plate in the middle of the 20th century. There is a small hairline crack and several flea bites which are shown in the photos. The crack is very stable and common for pieces of the age.
