This Ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada features fan shaped cutouts of kabuki actors. These were frequently cut out such that uncut prints like this one are rarer than might otherwise be typical. It is an antique original piece as evidenced by the fibers in the paper and the strength of the fine lines in the print. It measures 9 1/2" x 13 3/4" in size.
