1933 Andoll Anderson Swedish Viking Ship Gouache Framed Painting
This gouache painting by Andoll Anderson is of a 11th Century Viking ship, It shows the ship in rough seas on a cloud filled night with rolling choppy waves. It is signed by the artist and date 1933. There is some staining in the upper right corner which barely detracts from the piece. It almost looks as if this could possibly have been an illustration for some kind of a book, though we are just speculating about that.
