For your consideration is this antique Chinese porcelain pedestal serving bowl. This shallow bowl with scalloped rim features a vase with flowers in the center. Around the inside it shows a beautiful famille rose pattern of peony and lotus flowers over turquoise leaves on a yellow ground with gilded lip. This would have originally been part of a pedestal mounted serving set where this bowl would have been surrounded by four other bowls. It features a partially worn off Qianlong mark, though the bowl is much newer than that period. The bowl is in excellent condition with the worst of the wear being to the base as a result of sitting without a raised foot. It would make a lovely addition to any Chinese famille rose colection.
