Peru Pre-Columbian Weaving Fragment Sterling Silver 925 Pendant
This one of a kind pendant features a fragment of a very old Peruvian weaving encased between glass with sterling silver bezel. The weaving likely is either Chancay or Wari and dates to between 800 to 1450 AD. The weaving is detailed with shades of blue, purple, and multiple maroons and oranges. It's great preservation is due to the desert like region where it comes from. The pendant itself is likely a 20th century piece. It is marked PERU 925 on the bezel and features a hand hammered finish on the silver. Do not miss the chance to add this unique old weaving in pendant form to your collection.
